• Rhoddion i'r Banc Bwyd / Foodbank donations

  Diolch yn fawr iawn i holl deulu Pontybrenin am eich rhoddion hael o fwyd i Fanc Bwyd Abertawe (cangen Gorseinon). Casglwyd 249kg o fwyd yn gyfangwbl, digon i baratoi 590 pryd o fwyd. Bydd y cyfan yn gwneud byd o wahaniaeth i nifer o deuluoedd ac unigolion mwyaf difreintiedig ein cymdeithas. Diolch yn fawr unwaith eto!

   

  A big thank you to the entire Pontybrenin family for your generous contributions of food to the Swansea Food Bank (Gorseinon branch). We collected 249kg of food which is equivalent to 590 meals. These donations will make a world of difference to many of the most deprived families and individuals in our community. Diolch yn fawr! (21/10/16)

  

• Gwasanaethau Diolchgarwch yr Adran Iau / Junior Department Thanksgiving Services

  Does dim amheuaeth amdani - mae gan Ysgol Gymraeg Pontybrenin dalent! Da iawn i bob un o ddisgyblion yr Iau a gyfranodd mor arbennig at lwyddiant y Gwasanaethau Diolchgarwch yn eglwys Santes Catherine yr wythnos hon. Mae safon y canu a'r adrodd wedi bod yn arbennig a hyfryd oedd cael rhannu neges bwysig diolchgarwch gyda theulu Pontybrenin. 

   

  There's no doubt about it - Ysgol Gymraeg Pontybrenin's Got Talent! Well done to every one of our Junior pupils who contributed so wonderfully to the success of the Thanksgiving Services that have been held this week at St Catherine's church. The standard of singing and reciting has been excellent and it was great to be able to share the important message  of thanksgiving with the Pontybrenin family.  (19/10/16)</font>

• Shoctober

  Diolch yn fawr iawn i Rhian Jones, y tîm o Gwasanaeth Ambiwlans Cymru a Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Canolbarth a Gorllewin Cymru am arwain gweithdai Shoctober yn ein hysgol heddiw. Mwynheodd pawb y cyfle i ddysgu am sut i ymateb yn briodol i ddamweiniau, a rhaid mai uchafbwynt y diwrnod oedd cael y cyfle i eistedd yn yr ambiwlans a gwisgo fel paramedic. 

   

  A great big thank you to Rhian Jones, the team from The Welsh Ambulance Service and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service for leading the Shoctober workshops in school today. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning how to react in the event of an accident and the highlight of the day had to be sitting in the ambulance and dressing up as a paramedic.  (14/10/16)

• Diwrnod Cynnal & Chadw / Yard Maintenance Day

  Diolch o galon i bawb a gyfranodd at lwyddiant ein Diwrnod Cynnal a Chadw heddiw. Er nad oedd llawer ohonom ni, cyflawnon ni tipyn ac mae'r ysgol yn edrych yn well o lawer o ganlyniad. Ymlaen Pontybrenin!

   

  A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of today's Maintenance Day. Although we weren't many, we achieved a lot. Ymlaen Pontybrenin! (8/10/16)

• Cyfarfod CRA / PTA Meeting

  7.00yh yn Nhafarn y Trap. Mae angen eich cefnogaeth arnom felly dewch yn llu i gefnogi'r CRA gan eu bod nhw'n codi arian sy'n angenrheidiol i ddyfodol yr ysgol.

• Gweithdy 'The Right Click' Workshop

  Diolch yn fawr iawn i Johnathan a Darryl o BT am hyfforddiant e-ddiogelwch 'The Right Click'. Roedd yr hyfforddiant ar gyfer ein Cyngor Lles a'r Dewiniaid Digidol a'u rhieni. Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb. 

   

  Thank you very much to Johnathan and Darryl from BT for their e-safety training 'The Right Click'.  The training was for our Well-Being Committee and Digital Leaders as well as their parents. Thank you to all involved. (5/10/16)
