Enwi mwy o bethau bob dydd - Naming more everyday things

Beth i'w wneud
• Defnyddiwch fag (e.e. bag ffelt/bag addysg gorfforol/cas gobennydd) a rhowch ddetholiad o wrthrychau bob dydd (tua deg eitem) y tu mewn, e.e Brwsh, cwpan, esgid, llyfr, tedi, ac ati.
• Gadewch i'ch plentyn deimlo y tu mewn i'r bag a thynnu rhywbeth allan.
• Wrth i hyn ddigwydd, stopiwch i weld a yw'n enwi'r eitem yn ddigymell.
• Os na fydd hyn yn digwydd, cynigiwch ddewis (e.e. ‘A yw’n frwsh neu’n gar?’).
• Os nad yw hyn yn annog yr enw, rydych chi'n enwi'r eitem. Defnyddiwch lawer o ailadrodd i roi cyfle i'r plentyn wrando ar y gair.
• Dangoswch beth yw pwrpas yr eitem wrth i chi ddweud y gair (e.e. esgus yfed wrth i chi ddweud ‘cwpan’).
• Pan fydd y bag yn wag, annogwch y plentyn i godi gwrthrych a'i enwi wrth iddo fynd yn ôl i mewn i'r bag.

What to do
• Use a bag (e.g. felt bag/PE bag/pillowcase) and put a selection of everyday objects
(about ten items) inside, e.g brush, cup, shoe, book, teddy, etc.
• Let the child feel inside the bag and pull something out.
• As this happens, pause to see if he/she spontaneously names the item.
• If this doesn’t happen, offer a choice (e.g. ‘Is it a brush or a car?’).
• If this doesn’t prompt the name, you name the item. Use lots of repetition to give the child the opportunity to listen to the word.
• Demonstrate what the item is for as you say the word (e.g. pretend to drink as you say ‘cup’).
• When the bag is empty, reverse the activity so the child is picking up an object, naming it as it goes back into the bag.
