• Parti Recorders yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yr Urdd / Recorder Party at the Urdd National Eisteddfod

  Llongyfarchiadau i Barti Recorders yr ysgol ac i'w hathrawes, Mrs Holland, am berfformio mor dda yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yr Urdd ym Mhenybont ar Ogwr. Hyfryd oedd gweld disgyblion yr ysgol yn rhoi o'i gorau glas ac yn cynrychioli'r ysgol â chymaint o falchder ar lwyfan cenedlaethol. Da iawn chi!

   

  Congratulations to the Recorder Party and their teacher, Mrs Holland, for their wonderful performance at the Urdd National Eisteddfod in Bridgend. It was great to see our pupils giving of their very best whilst representing the school on a national stage. Da iawn chi! (29/5/17)

  

• Lawnsio 'Ap' newydd Cyw / Launching Cyw's new 'App'

  Plant y Meithrin a'r Derbyn wedi cael amser hyfryd yng nghwmni Jen a Jim bore 'ma wrth iddynt lawnsio ap newydd Byd Cyw. Mae'r ap ar gael i'w lawrlwytho nawr!

   

  Our Nursery & Reception pupils had a great time this morning with Jen and Jim, as they launched the new Byd Cyw app. The app is available to download now! (18/5/17)

  

• Arwerthiant Oriel Gelf y Derbyn / Reception Art Gallery Sale

  Hyfryd oedd gweld Pablo Picassos Pontybrenin (Dosbarthiadau Mrs Fewings, Miss White a Miss Rhys) yn gwerthu eu campweithiau celf yn Yr Oriel heddiw. Arbennig!

   

  It was wonderful to see YGG Pontybrenin's Pablo Picassos (Mrs Fewings, Miss White & Miss Rhys' classes) selling their masterpieces at today's Art Gallery. Amazing!  (12/5/17)

   

  

• Ymweliad 'The Owl Sanctuary' â Blwyddyn 1 / The Owl Sanctuary's visit to Year 1

  Hyfryd oedd croesawu 'The Owl Sanctuary' i'r ysgol heddiw i drafod y gwaith pwysig maen nhw'n gwneud yn achub tylluanod sydd wedi cael eu camdrin ac i ryngweithio gyda'r creaduriaid gosgeiddig hyn. Diolch yn fawr iawn!

   

  It was wonderful welcoming 'The Owl Sanctuary' to school today to discuss the important work they do in rescuing neglected and mistreated owl and to have the opportunity to interact with these graceful creatures. Diolch yn fawr iawn! (11/5/17)  

  

• Adnewyddu Toiledau Bechgyn CA2 / KS2 Boys' Toilet Makeover

  Toiledau Bechgyn CA2 wedi cael bach o adnewyddiad yn dilyn sylwadau cenfigennus am doiledau newydd Merched CA2. Mae pawb yn hapus nawr!

   

  The KS2 Boys' toilets has had a bit of a makeover following envious looks in the direction of the newly refurbished KS2 Girls' toilets. Everybody's happy now! (4/5/17)
