Beth y WellComm? - What is WellComm?

Pecyn Cymorth Lleferydd ac Iaith ar gyfer Sgrinio ac Ymyrraeth yn y Blynyddoedd Cynnar (o 6 mis i 6 oed) yw WellComm, sy’n chwarae rhan hollbwysig wrth adnabod plant ag anawsterau iaith posib. Mae’r pecyn cymorth yn cynnig amrywiaeth o weithgareddau ymyrraeth wedi’u teilwra i helpu i gefnogi eu datblygiad iaith. Mae Wellcomm yn hawdd i’w weinyddu a’i sgorio, mae’r teclyn sgrinio yn defnyddio system goleuadau traffig unigryw i helpu ymarferwyr i ddeall lefel bresennol iaith a lleferydd  y plentyn ac i ddarparu llwybr ar gyfer cefnogaeth, gan sicrhau bod pob plentyn yn cael y cymorth sydd ei angen arnynt.

WellComm is a Speech and Language Toolkit for Screening and Intervention in the Early Years (from 6 months to 6 years of age ) that plays a crucial role in identifying children with potential language difficulties. The toolkit offers a range of customised intervention activities to help support their language development. Welcome is easy to administer and score, the screening tool uses a unique traffic light system to help practitioners understand the child’s current level of speech and language and to provide a pathway for action, ensuring every child gets the support they need.
