Tablau | Times tables

Mae angen i'ch plentyn ddysgu eu tablau hyd at 12 x 12.  Mae'r plant yn defnyddio'u tablau yn ddyddiol o fewn y gwersi Mathemateg.  Y ffordd orau i'w dysgu yw i adrodd y tablau yn defnyddio'r patrwm yma:

"Un dau yw dau

   Dau dau yw pedwar

      Tri dau yw chwech..."

Your child needs to learn their times table up to 12x12.  The pupils use their tables daily within Maths lessons.  The best way to learn them is to chant using the above pattern. 

Gallwch wneud ymarferion ar y cyfrifiadur fel 'Hit the Button', 'Daily 10' a gemau mathemateg arall.

You can play maths games online such as 'Hit the button', 'Daily 10' and other maths games.

Tymor yr Haf | Summer Term

Y tymor yma byddwn yn ffocysu ar y canlynol o fewn ein gwersi Mathemateg:

During this term we will be focusing on the following during our Maths lessons:   

• Parhau i ddysgu tablau hyd at 2, 5, 10, 3 a 4 / Continue to learn times tables up to 2, 5, 10, 3 and 4;

• Defnyddio pedwar pwynt cwmpawd i ddisgrifio cyfeiriad / Use the four compass points to describe directions;

• Adnabod bod dwy ongl sgwâr yn gwneud hanner tro, a bod pedair ongl sgwâr yn gwneud tro llawn / Recognise that two right angles make a half turn, and that four right angles make a full turn;

• Disgrifio ongl fel un sydd yn fwy neu'n llai nag ongl sgwâr / Describe an angle as more or less than a right angle;

• Mesur hyd i'r hanner cm agosaf / Measure length to the nearest half cm;

• Dysgu canfod arwynebedd siâp / Find area of a shape;

• Mesur pwysau mas mewn gramau a chilogramau / To measure weight and mass in grams and kilograms;

• Mesur cynhwysedd mewn mililitrau a litrau / To measure capacity in millilitres and litres;

• Adnabod rhifau negyddol mewn cyd-destun tymheredd / To recognise negative numbers in the context of temperature;

• Casglu, cyflwyno a dehongli data mewn pictogramau, graffiau bar, diagram Venn a diagram Carroll / Collect, present and interpret data in pictograms, bar graphs, Venn diagrams and Carroll diagrams.

Tymor y Gwanwyn | Spring Term

Yn ystod mis Ionawr, Chwefror a Mawrth, bydd ein gwersi Mathemateg a Rhifedd yn rhoi ffocws ar y System Rhif: 

During January, February and March our Mathematics and Numeracy lessons will be focusing on the Number System:    

• Parhau i ddysgu tablau hyd at 2, 5, 10, 3 a 4  

   Continue to learn times tables up to 2, 5, 10, 3 and 4;

• Adnabod enwau a phriodweddau siapau 2D a 3D 

   Recognise names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes;

• Defnyddio pedwar pwynt cwmpawd i ddisgrifio cyfeiriad  

   Use the four compass points to describe directions;

• Adnabod bod dwy ongl sgwâr yn gwneud hanner tro, a bod pedair ongl sgwâr yn gwneud tro llawn

• Adio, tynnu, lluosi a rhannu 

   Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division

• Dysgu tablau 2, 5, 10, 3 a 4  

   Learn times tables 2, 5, 10, 3 and 4    

• Ysgrifennu rhifau hyd at deg mil  

   Writing numbers up to ten thousand

• Adio a thynnu 1, 10 a 100 at unrhyw rif  

   Adding and subtracting 1, 10 and 100 at any number

• Amcangyfrif a thalgrynnu i'r 10 a'r 100 agosaf  

   Estimating and rounding to the nearest 10 and 100

• Cyfri ymlaen ac yn ol mewn camau sy'n ailadrodd 

   Count forwards and backwards in repetitive steps.
