Defnyddio ‘mewn’ ac ‘ymlaen’ ar y lefel symlaf

Using ‘in’ and ‘on’ at the simplest level

    Beth i'w wneud
    • Casglwch rai teganau a'u gosod o amgylch yr ystafell: rhowch nhw ‘i mewn’ ac ‘ar’ bethau.
    • Wrth i’r plentyn ddod o hyd i wrthrych, anogwch ef/hi i ddweud ble mae’r arddodiaid yn cael ei ddefnyddio (e.e. ‘yn’ cwpan; ‘ar’ gwely).
    • Os yw'r plentyn yn gwneud camgymeriad neu ddim yn ymateb, cynigiwch ddewis (e.e. ‘Ydy’r car yn neu ar y bocs?’).
    • Pan fydd yr holl deganau wedi'u gweld, newidiwch leoedd ac anogwch y plentyn i'w gosod y tro hwn, ac yna dywedwch ble i edrych, gan ddefnyddio'r arddodiad.

    What to do
    • Gather together some toys and place them around the room: put them ‘in’ and ‘on’ things.
    • As the child locates an object, encourage him/her to say where the preposition is being used (e.g. ‘in’ cup; ‘on’ bed).
    • If the child makes a mistake or doesn’t respond, offer a choice

(e.g. ‘Is the car in or on the box?’).
    • When all the toys have been seen, change places and encourage the child to place them this time, and then tell you where to look, using the preposition.
